To ensure that the temperature and humidity remain within the ideal range over the long term, there are a few simple but essential steps you should follow. The Correct Temperature Setting
The intuitive control panel gives you easy access to temperature settings. For long-term storage, a temperature of about 12 °C is suitable for all wines, including sparkling wines. Serving temperature, on the other hand, is highly subjective and depends largely on the type of service, the amount of time the wine spends in the glass, and, of course, the wine itself. Set your wine cabinet according to your personal preferences.
For multi-temperature models (with an “S” prefix in the part number), be sure to maintain a temperature difference of at least 10 °C between the set zones.
Positioning and Loading
Your EuroCave wine cabinet must be installed in an open space (not inside a closed cabinet*), away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as a fireplace or radiator. The ambient humidity must remain below 85%, and the room temperature must be between 5 and 30 °C.
Regardless of the temperature zones and settings you choose, it is recommended that you fill your wine cabinet to about 75% of its capacity. When loading the cabinet, make sure that no bottles touch the back wall. These factors contribute to thermal stability and proper humidity control inside the cabinet.
Regular Maintenance
Small but essential: the carbon filter
The charcoal filter plays a key role in air circulation, humidity control, and odor neutralization. Your wine cabinet is equipped with an automatic monitoring system that alerts you when the filter needs to be replaced.
Under normal use, a filter lasts about 12 months. In certain environments, such as smoking areas, replacement after 6 months is recommended.

Cleaning the interior and the cabinet
For exterior cleaning, we recommend using a slightly damp microfiber cloth and a standard glass cleaner. The durable materials are easy to maintain and help preserve your cabinet’s high-end look.
Once a year, or as needed, it is recommended that you empty the cabinet, turn it off, and clean all the shelves and interior surfaces. Also, be sure to rinse out the drain at the bottom of the cabinet.

Moisture Problems in the Wine Cabinet
Excessive humidity can cause mold to grow and labels to peel off. If this happens, check the drain and remove the humidity control cassette (for single-temperature models only), if installed.
Make sure the door closes properly, that the filter is not used beyond its service life, and that the humidity in the room is not too high.
If your single-temperature cabinet displays a humidity level below 55% or triggers an alarm, place the included humidity cassette under the bottom rack. Before using it for the first time, soak it in water for 1 to 2 hours. Monitor the humidity reading and, if necessary, add 2 dl of water after a few days. Once the target humidity is reached, remove and dry the cassette. If the color of the clay beads changes, replace the cassette through our online store.
